FC Nordsjaelland (FCN) welcomed ATD President, Matt Arrington, to their home in Farum, Denmark for a week of all things soccer related. The week included a visit from the Right to Dream (RtD) Academy U15 boys team, who spent the week at FCN preparing for the Future Cup hosted by Ajax Amsterdam. Along with being present during their attendance, Arrington got the chance to catch up with some old friends and club president, Tom Vernon.

During the week Arrington spent time attending training sessions for the RtD U15's, where he got to pick the brain of head coach, Frazer Robertson. "Robertson, along with the entirety of the RtD and FCN staff have been incredibly informative and open about how they run things- from the equipment manager, to the team physio, to the head coaches," Arrington said.  "They've all been happy to answer questions and educate me. Even to the point where a number of staff members have approached me asking if I had questions and not to hesitate to ask them anything. It has truly been an incredible learning experience."

Arrington ended the week getting to watch a closed-doors scrimmage between mixed squads of RtD and FCN players- the first of its kind. Club President, Tom Vernon, has worked tirelessly to make this dream a reality by having the RtD and FCN academies work seamlessly with one another. The future is bright for the both academies and the club, as three players from RtD have already been worked into FCN's first team. The new club model has been developed to return FCN back to where they were just three years ago- the pinnacle of Danish and European soccer- champions of Denmark and competing in the Champions League.
